What can you expect during this lifestyle intake?

It does not mean that this is coaching in itself. By looking at the total picture, we get a better picture of the integrated care needed. So we can better give you personalised advice and refer you to the services that are right for you. That way, you don't have to figure out what can help you on your own. We are already happy to help you on your way to a sustainable path that you can follow at your own pace.

Lifestyle Medicine focuses on promoting your health by preventing and treating disease through evidence-based lifestyle interventions. This includes nutrition, exercise, biorhythms, sleep, stress management, relationships and other behavioural factors that contribute to a healthy life. Many services can be found within Healthcube. Of course, you are completely free to contact other healthcare providers at any time. By listening, we want to dig deeper than just focusing on the local problem and thus the symptom.

What does the Lifestyle Intake involve?

  1. Comprehensive Health Assessment
    • Medical History: A thorough discussion of your medical history, current health problems and family history.
    • Lifestyle Evaluation: Analysis of your diet, physical activity, sleep patterns, stress levels and other lifestyle factors.
  2. Mental Health and Wellness
    • Psychosocial Assessment: Discussion of your mental health, including stress management, emotional well-being and social relationships. Referral to a fellow psychologist for assessment is an issue here.
    • Mindfulness and stress management: Assessing your current stress management strategies and offering new techniques and tools.
  3. Physical Health and Fitness
    • Physical Fitness: Analysis of your physical fitness, including strength, flexibility and endurance.
    • Body composition: Measurements of weight, other relevant biometric data.
  4. Personal health plan
    • Individual Pathway: Based on the comprehensive assessment, we prepare a tailor-made health plan. This plan may include nutritional advice, exercise programmes, stress management techniques, and sleep improvement strategies.
    • Objectives and monitoring: Together, we set achievable health goals and schedule regular follow-ups to monitor your progress and adjust where necessary.
