Biography of Kristina Denissen

I started my career as a Master in Psychology, but have always had a passion for nutrition. Partly because I had allergies as a child and partly because I suffered from gastrointestinal complaints myself for years. I therefore decided to retrain as an Approved Dietitian.
During my consultations, I combine my knowledge and experience as a dietitian with my background as a psychologist.

I specialise in:

- Gastrointestinal problems:
irritable bowel (and low-FODMAP diet)allergies and intolerances, IBD (crohn's/colitis ulcerosa), celiac disease
- Plant-based nutrition
- Sports nutrition
- Nutrition as part of fertility programme to increase chances of pregnancy or after PCOS diagnosis

Of course, you can also come to me for advice in the context of a healthy lifestyle, increased vitality (e.g.: in the context of burn-out), weight loss, pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes.
"Healthy diet and lifestyle is not just for the happy few, it affects everyone!"

My approach:

I take time to listen to you, together we draw up a personal plan
on that is sufficiently flexible for adjustments and with the necessary (practical)
support tools.

My values:

Openness - open-mindedness - personal approach - tailor-made guidance -
scientific foundation
