Every child has their own story. Sometimes that story gets stuck for a while, but that
doesn’t mean it stops. I believe that every child and every young person, with the right
support, to regain confidence in themselves and in their
own resources.
My name is Elisa. I am a clinical psychologist, a graduate of the VUB, and
works with children, young people and their families with great enthusiasm. A warm
For me, a bond of trust is key, because I believe that children only really
can flourish when they feel safe and understood. I take a client-centred approach and
at the child’s or young person’s own pace. Together, we’ll explore what he or she
needs, in which I like to combine creative teaching methods with
talk therapy.

emotional difficulties.
During my work placement, I gained experience dealing with a wide range of support requests. I provided support to
children and young people with conditions including ADHD, ASD, trauma and behavioural or
context-related difficulties, where I mainly worked with creative,
play- and body-based techniques. I also ran workshops as a volunteer
on children’s mental wellbeing. I’m keen to continue my professional development, because I
