I studied physiotherapy at the college Aedes paramedicorum in Brussels and at the Free University of Brussels. I then started training in osteopathy at FICO/ Osteopathy Academy Antwerp. In 2012, I graduated from Dresden International University and obtained a master of science (MSc) in osteopathy.
Besides my osteopathy practice, I taught at FICO for more than 25 years and was responsible for instilling scientific understanding and methodology in students' research projects. I also sat on graduation juries at several osteopathy schools.
I took several postgraduate courses in cranial osteopathy and obtained the title “expert cranial osteopath” after 5 years of experience, which is also how I came into contact with the teachings of J. Jealous.
This teaching, biodynamics in cranial osteopathy, is based on the founders of osteopathy and finds its scientific basis in embryology or the origin of life, among other things. I work according to these insights. Primary breathing or self-healing power or health are key concepts here.
Osteopathic treatment in my practice is based on a statement by W. G. Sutherland: “Anyone can find disease, but finding health is our job.”
After more than 35 years of experience in osteopathy, this is still a passion.
