Rosangelica Arraiz

Biography of Rosangelica Arraiz

Sometimes life gets harder than we expected and it proves difficult to cope with its demands. We may not have all the tools and strategies to deal with it, for example accepting our limitations and asking for professional help is totally fine, because we all have vulnerabilities. I am a cognitive behavioural psychologist and from this approach, the interaction between the person and the context is the framework in which the learning process takes place.

We have learnt how to behave in a certain way, which means we can learn new and more functional ways of dealing with our difficulties in life. Because what we have learned is the result of a complex learning process, to make our lives work differently, we need to be open to significant changes and patient with our own process. During our therapeutic journey, we will delve into the reasons why our behaviour is held, we will analyse how they affect us, and we will learn new ways of approaching those elements in our lives that are obstacles to having a functional life.

I am a clinical psychologist with a passion for human behaviour and well-being. I specialise in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD), but I also have a strong interest in anxiety, stress management and health psychology, such as the impact of chronic diseases on mental health. I enjoy seeing what a person can achieve during and after the therapeutic process, and it will be an honour for me to be able to help you and walk this path of self-discovery and transformation together.
