Pilates is a training method that focuses on whole-body strengthening with an emphasis on core muscles (abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles) and a focus on breathing during exercises while performing controlled movements. It combines strength and stretching to achieve a stronger, more flexible and supple body without excessive muscle mass.
