Through my experience as a youth international in judo, I know how to train fully by giving your all mentally and physically. Because of this, I now realise that it is hugely important to create a good balance between that maximum performance and the necessary moments of rest that you can incorporate via visualisations, breathing exercises and quiet moments. Otherwise, you can never sustain this over time. Besides sport, there are also numerous lifestyle factors that are important : sleep, stress, biorhythms, nutrition, right doses of exercise (daily, endurance and strength). Mums who want to restart before, during and after pregnancy, I like to give the right tips & tricks to go through all this in an active way.
So this is my mission to correctly inform people to make exercise feel unforced fine and fit into their weekly schedule.
Together, we set realistic goals and, as we get stronger (physically and mentally), we start enjoying our movement moment more and more.
This route works best using 1-on-1 training sessions supplemented by pre-arranged training moments that you are given. Sophie ensures that she tackles your weak links progressively through well-chosen exercises. This allows you to evolve in the right way without falling back, even when you train at home.
Thanks to her background as master LO and sportkine, she knows very well how to dose and choose the right exercises ifv an optimal triggering of your body.
In short, with me you can find a balanced variation between stretch, strength and endurance. Variation in training is extremely important. Not only by changing exercises, but also by providing different training stimuli (strength, power posture, explosive, stability, eccentric, dynamic stretching, rest, agility, etc.).

I'm Laura, I'm from Venezuela and have been in Brussels for 5 years now.
I'm a certified CrossFit trainer for adults and for kids. I also work as a Personal Trainer and I'm a person that is completely in love with sports and fitness. I'm also in love with helping others to reach their best version and being healthy so that's why I'm co-founding with Christina "Ladies in Weighting", an spectacular programme for the wellbeing of women that will change your life.
In June 2025, I successfully completed my studies in Sport and Exercise. During my studies, I specialised in strength and cardio training, focusing on both health and sports performance. I learned to work with diverse target groups: from athletes to seniors and people with disabilities.
My passion for sport started at a young age. Sitting still was never an option, but injury after injury meant I spent more time at the physiotherapist than on the volleyball court. This sparked my interest in strength training. I needed to find a way to play volleyball without sustaining a new injury again and again. My training was my saving grace here and in a few months, I evolved from a regular client to 1-2 checkups a year. Not only did I stay injury-free, I jumped higher, hit harder and got faster. My conclusion: for those who want to get better at their sport as well as avoid injuries, strength training is a must!
Where my training began as a personal quest for recovery, a genuine passion to help others - both in sport and in health - soon grew here. In our society, the emphasis in healthcare is often on prolonging life, but too little on how to ensure that we can really enjoy ourselves in the last decades. Strength and cardio training are indispensable in this: they keep you strong, fit and vital, whatever your age.
The beauty is: you can start anytime. And the even nicer thing? You can join me for both strength and cardio training from now on.
